Your safety, and the safety of our artists and team are our first priorities at Ryman Auditorium. And we have the support from our team at Ryman Hospitality Properties and Vanderbilt University Medical Center to make sure that we have the very best safeguards and training in place so that you can feel good about your visit to the Ryman.

For evening concerts, safety protocols may vary based on individual artist requests. Any updates will be listed below and will also be communicated to ticketholders via email. Updates are being made frequently and may change at any time.

Metro Public Health Department is offering free testing and vaccinations at 2491 Murfreesboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37217 (former Kmart parking lot). Please visit ASafeNashville.org for more details.

Please note: Full vaccination is attained 14 days after final shot of two-dose vaccine (Moderna, Pfizer) or 14 days after a single-shot vaccine (Johnson & Johnson). Home test results will not be accepted as date and time of testing cannot be verified.

Masks Strongly Encouraged

Due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases, the Ryman strongly encourages all of our guests and employees to wear a face covering, regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be available for any guests that request them.

Clean and Secure

The Ryman follows all rules and orders set forth by the Nashville Metro Government and Public Health Department. Hand sanitation stations are located throughout the venue.

Show Safety

  • Masks are strongly encouraged for all employees and guests.
  • Ticketholders will be notified via email if a show requires proof of a negative COVID-19 test result or vaccination. Updates will also be made to this safety page.
  • No oversized bags or backpacks will be permitted into the Ryman, unless medically related.
  • No outside food or beverages will be permitted.
  • Doors will open one hour prior to showtime.
  • Security screenings are standard practice at the Ryman. No weapons, including pocket-knives are allowed on property.

Q: Are these live, in-person shows?

A: Shows include an in-person audience. Please visit each individual show page for information on in-person tickets and livestream tickets.

Q: Where can I buy tickets for an in-person show?

A: All available tickets can be purchased via Ryman.com.

Q: Will food and beverage be provided on-site?

A: A limited food, drink, and alcohol menu will be available to guests for purchase before each show and up until 30 minutes before each show ends. Food and drink must be consumed at guests' seats and masks may only be removed when actively eating and/or drinking. Masks must be replaced when not eating or drinking.

Q: Will restrooms be provided?

A: Yes, restrooms will be available for all guests.

Q: Can I bring my own food and drink to the Ryman?

A: Outside food and drink is not permitted at the venue at any time.

Q: Will there be a smoking area at the venue that we can visit?

A: No, smoking will be strictly prohibited on the Ryman property at this time.
