Grammy Award-winning country music icon Clint Black will spend a special evening with fans at Ryman Auditorium on May 17 celebrating 30 years of his triple platinum selling debut album Killin’ Time.
Killin’ Time, to this day, remains one of the highest selling debut albums in country music. The groundbreaking album became a seminal recording as it helped bring the genre back to mainstream audiences. Its influence can be heard in many of the albums that followed, and its modesty and sincerity still resonate with artists and fans alike. Clint will be performing a number of songs from Killin’ Time including classic No. 1 hits like “A Better Man,” “Nobody’s Home,” and “Killin’ Time.” Clint says, “My songs and especially the songs from Killin’ Time are the glue that connects me to my fans. I’m excited that they’ve been a part of the soundtrack to their lives for so many years.”
The celebration continues with the release of “Still Killin’ Time” on November 8 with featuring 2 unreleased songs originally written for the 1989 album. The remaining tracks mark the first time Clint has ever released live recordings.
